Flight Attendants At Horizon Air Reach Tentative Agreement
Washington, DC, May 30, 2012 – Horizon Air Flight Attendants,
represented by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA),
today announced a tentative agreement with management. AFA
represents the more than 500 Flight Attendants at Horizon, a
wholly owned subsidiary of Alaska Air Group.
“Horizon Flight Attendants play a crucial role in the success of
our airline. This agreement recognizes our contributions and
addresses the concerns most important to Flight Attendants,”
said Leslie Miller, Acting AFA President at Horizon.
The agreement includes increases to pay and vacation, as well as
substantial improvements to Flight Attendant flexibility and
quality of life. The tentative agreement has been approved by
the Flight Attendant leadership. Complete terms of the agreement
will be sent to the membership for ratification.
Horizon offers service to 40 destinations in the United States,
Canada and Mexico.
